About Saberi Entertainment

What began as a desire to make suspenseful action films evolved into a calling for president and founder of Saberi Entertainment, Haleh Saberi, to shine a light on some of the situations that she observed as a traveling nurse during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Her goal is to bring to the forefront and honor her fellow healthcare comrades in arms for the selfless sacrifices they have made during the Covid-19 Pandemic so that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.

Haleh’s goal is to make several dramatic and entertaining films based on true events that deal with the healthcare industry subject matter, and the Covid-19 Pandemic starting with BROKEN.

From a young age, Haleh dreamt of being an actor, storyteller and a nurse.  While the long pursuit of her dreams has been realized in to a degree, she could never have predicted they would intersect when Covid-19 changed the world.  Our lack of preparedness for a pandemic impacted patient’s outcomes caused near collapse of systems and the rationing of patient care has overwhelmed healthcare providers and devastated families. Being over worked, with almost zero PPE, working as a nurse in many of Covid-19 units and long-term care facilities, Haleh witnessed decisions made by some care providers that went against everything that she trained for and stood for morally and ethically.

Through Saberi Entertainment, Haleh and her team use real life stories to reveal realities of life today more despairing than the conspiracy theories some use to distract us from the truth.  Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Saberi Entertainment works with talented contributors across the globe to develop and create award winning films.  Broken is the first in a series of films to reveal the impact of Covid management on the lives of health care workers.  It shows us in painful detail, the choices they have been forced to make in a society that simply expects unlimited supply of health care and little responsibility to support it.

After Haleh has completed her mission of producing her slate of dramatic films in the Health Care genre she will turn her attention back to embracing and telling stories in all cinematic genres.
